Ulrich spotlights different pathways each Wednesday in conjunction with our Pathway Spirit Day. Encourage your student to wear a college shirt on Wednesdays, a branch of service, or any other future-readiness pathway they may wish to explore of feel pride in. Today we celebrate Ms. Jablonski, 7th and 8th grade CTE and Electives teacher.

I chose SFA because I wanted to go to college, but didn’t want to get too far from home or be in debt for my education. SFA is about 2.5 hours away from Houston just far enough you can come home when you’d like, but your parents don’t show up for lunch randomly.

The professors who taught my math and education courses showed me the teacher I wanted to be. I knew I wanted to be a lumberjack when my acceptance letter arrived with confetti! That was the perfect vibe for me.

I recommend SFA for the small town feel with professors who care about your personal education. I would also recommend SFA for students who want to be part of a university family. Go Jacks!

Students can visit Promise2Purpose.net to see all the pathways in Klein as well as a career interest inventory, information from the College Board, and the certifications offered right here in Klein ISD!
