Julie Nguyen, a 6th grader at Klein Intermediate, won first place in the Sci-Fi Novel category for intermediate schools. Julie was tasked creating a short sci-fi story that uses math to save a space fleet, a world, or to solve a problem. Her short story is entitled “Floating Around in Ecstacy.”
Julie also represented her school in the 2022-2023 Spelling Bee.
