Dear Klein Cain Families,
Our teachers are committed to providing quality instruction for our students and are working harder than ever to teach students both in-person and virtually. To assist in this work, one area in need of immediate attention is additional planning and preparation time for our classroom teachers.
We will have the following teacher planning days, which will be a Klein Online remote learning day from home for all students to address the need for additional planning time for our teachers.
Teacher planning days are as follows:
- Friday, December 4, 2020
- Thursday, February 11, 2021
- Friday, March 12, 2021
- Friday, April 16, 2021
On-campus care will be available for those families who need it. If your child needs on-campus care on December 4, 2020, please complete this GOOGLE FORM no later than November 20th.
Klein On-Campus students who will be learning remotely on these days will be provided the following:
- 6th through 12th-grade — On-campus students will learn through Schoology in an asynchronous format (not live through Zoom). Any assignments given will be submitted by the end of the day for each course. Completing and submitting assignments in Schoology will show evidence of asynchronous learning, and grades for those assignments will satisfy attendance requirements.
Klein Online students (who will remain at home) will:
- Learn through instructional lessons and posted assignments in Schoology in an asynchronous format (not participate in live Zoom instruction)
- Satisfy attendance requirements by showing evidence of completing and submitting assignments provided in Schoology.
Thank you for your continued support of our campus and school district. If you have any questions, please contact Jocelyn Muckelroy Jmuckelroy1@kleinisd.net or Robert Carbajal rcarbajal1@kleinisd.net.
Sincerely,
Klein Cain Administration
