STAAR Test: This Week!
Our campus will be closed to visitors for STAAR Testing April 26, April 27, May 3, and May 4. Please make arrangements for your student to be in attendance and avoid early checkouts or late check-ins for appointments on these days. Additionally, students will leave their Chromebooks and chargers in their testing classrooms the night before each test. Please help us make sure all of our Bearcubs do their best!
3rd Party Deliveries
Students are NOT allowed to order, or have any 3rd party delivery, to the school during lunchtime. Parents are only allowed to bring lunch to their student- excluding lunch for their friends. This is for the safety and the health of all of our Bearcub students.
Student Council Dance- Ticket Sales End Friday!
The cutoff date for students to request/pay for dance tickets is Friday April 28th. There are very few tickets left and spots are limited. To request a ticket to be added to your SchoolCash account your student needs to go to the KLEB ALL Schoology page—->Updates Section to find the Google form. Once they fill out the Google form, we will confirm that they have no outstanding SchoolCash fees. If your student requested a dance ticket and it is not in your account yet, it might be because you have outstanding SchoolCash fees that need to be paid. Students cannot attend the dance if they have outstanding fees.
Once you have paid for a dance ticket, please inform your student that they will NOT be allowed into the dance if they do not have their student ID around their neck. Temporary sticker IDs do not count.
Dance attendees’ behavior will be monitored in the weeks leading up to the dance, and if students are not following the Bearcub Matrix, they will not be allowed to attend the dance.
If you have questions regarding the dance, please email hscoggins1@kleinisd.net.
If you have questions regarding dance tickets/SchoolCash fees, please email kkilbourn1@kleinisd.net.

She has amazing writing and drawing skills and ability to remember details. Olivia’s innovative and creative mindset always sets her up for greatness. She is always optimistic and hopeful, striving to put her best foot forward in all that she does. Shane is a Values-Drive Leader! He exemplifies kindness, gentleness, and self-control. Shane is a light in class and his smile and selflessness earned him the nickname of “Sunshine”.
Student ID Badges
Please ensure that your student has their school-issued ID badge and wears it around their neck every day at school. ID badges are required at all times, to get food at breakfast/lunch, to check out books in the library, to participate in school activities and after-school activities. Once a new ID badge/sleeve/lanyard has been requested by a student on Schoology, parents must go onto SchoolCash and pay the fees BEFORE those items can be disbursed to students. All fees must be paid in order to participate in end of year celebration activities.
End-of-Year Celebrations
The end of the year is approaching and we will have celebrations and events for students. The criteria for all students to meet in order to participate in the celebrations and events was communicated to parents earlier this month.
