Winter Break: February 13-17

The week of February 13-17 is Winter Break for Klein ISD. There will be no school for students. School will resume on Monday, February 20.

Rising 9th graders:

February 9th: Vistas Early College High School will have a 2nd parent informational night 6 – 7pm.
March 3rd: Sports Medicine applications submissions are due.

Science Expo: RESCHEDULED for February 21

Due to inclement weather, the Science Expo has been rescheduled for February 21. “Join us for engaging science experiments presented by Klein High School Science National Honor Society.” Starts immediately after school until 5:30 pm in science lab rooms 223 and 226.

Kleb Chess Club Tournament

The Kleb Chess Club participated in the Klein High School Winter Interscholastic Tournament on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Over 300 participants were registered and all of our chess club members did a great job. Bearcubs of the Week

Nevaeh is a self-motivated and positive person who impacts her peers and is a leader in the classroom. Devin is a humble student who is grateful, kind, joyful, and honest. He makes those around him smile and he is a great student. Eva is a pathway explorer! She has a great work ethic and takes her academics seriously. She has a positive attitude and always has a smile on her face. She has many Bearcub qualities and is a future leader. Brayden is ready to learn every day; collaborating and communicating skillfully and with integrity. He possesses a healthy sense of self and embraces challenges with an open mind. He is as passionate about his academics as he is about his athletic endeavors. It’s his qualities that make him a well-rounded Bearcub and a student leader! Shelby is a Pathway Explorer in class. She is always on the forefront of the assignments and helping other students when she can. She goes above and beyond to exemplify excellence. Aaron is the most optimistic, willing, and kind learner. He leads others by example and has a quiet perseverance. He works hard without prompting and is always willing to help without any reservation. His kind heart is something we value in the choir room and we are so thankful for not only his singing voice, but his commitment to being the best person every day.

8th GRADE DANCE: An independent group of parents will be organizing an off-campus 8th grade dance. The event is scheduled for May 20th at the Klein Multipurpose Center. TIME TO BUY YOUR YEARBOOKS and 8th GRADE ADS: Yearbooks are on sale NOW through www.balfour.com. 8th grade ads are also on sale through the same website. Deadlines to purchase 8th grade ads is February 17, 2023, and deadline to submit the ad design is February 24, 2023. The deadline to purchase a yearbook is March 31, 2023.
