The Benignus PE Department and Student Council are partnering up this year to hold our 3rd annual Family Fitness Night on Thursday, March 10th from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Family Fitness Night is an opportunity for our students and their families to preview our communities health and fitness businesses. We have invited over 25 businesses around our area to showcase what they have to offer in an informational booth or interactive station.
This event will also be Student Council’s first fundraiser for the year in the form of a silent auction during the event. They will be collecting items that are listed on the Sign-Up Genius. Their goal is to raise money for a flagpole light, some new shrubbery around the flagpole, and a trash can for the playground. Depending on items donated, the student council plans on creating 10 themed baskets for families to bid on.
